Covergirl is my dreamhorse, the spoiled one. I purchased Covergirl as a weanling from the "Show Me" State of MO. She is a gorgeous mare with all the right qualities, pretty head, muscular build and beautiful grulla coloring. She has a unique personality and is an exceptional riding mare.

Covergirl was bred to QAR Mega Classic(Sky Dog) and produced a beautiful dun colt with a blanket, born March 8, 2007. Please view Raisin Kain Tankeris at the Sale Barn.

Covergirl has been shown extensively since she was a baby and has done very well at open and ApHC shows. Always placing high in halter.

I will not be showing Covergirl (as much) in Halter in 2009. Instead we will be working on endurance riding, bareback & bridless riding, ranch horse work and trail riding.

Here is the next spoiled girl !!   Roxy is a beautiful red dun filly with a nice lacey blanket. She has great conformation and a huge muscular hip.  Her attitude is wonderful.   She is extremely quiet and seeks human interaction. She handles any new situation like a seasoned veteran. She is such a very sweet little girl !!

Raising Kain’s Dixie Girl

"Dixie" is our 25 year old Foundation Appaloosa mare who has a huge engine and alot of GO ! Dixie is used in our lesson program, summer camps, trail riding and is our barrel horse. In 2006 she earned a year end Championship & Reserve Championship in the Gaming Division hosted by The Horseman’s Association of Columbus County. Not bad for an old girl!

Dixie was bred to QAR Mega Classic (Sky Dog) and had the later part of 2007 off due to her pregnancy. In March of 2008 she delivered a chestnut roan Appaloosa filly. We named her Dixie's Ultra Classic. "Classy", as we call her. This will be Dixie's last baby, so therefore we are keeping this one.

In the fall of 2008 we did take Dixie to a game show. You could tell she is aging, She had some difficulty trying to keep up with the youngsters. But...she had SO MUCH TRY !! She will be retired from the show ring with the exception of teaching a few children at the local 4-H shows.

Ringmaster's Bonnie

Ringmaster's Bonnie, better known as "Teeney" is our Belgian Draft Horse. Teeney is 21 years old. She is what we call "our babysitter". Teeney has taught several people to ride, she has allowed many students to gain or regain confidence. Teeney is a big kitten. She has no idea that she weighs 2000 lbs. I can put the youngest baby, handicapped child or the nervous adult beginner on her back and I know that she will be gentle, accepting, and quiet. She does not spook. She does anything you ask without question.

Teeney is a beautiful harness horse and knows her job. The benefit is you can also ride her. Teeney is used extensively for beginners during lessons, summer camps, theraputic riding, parades and driving events.
